Product Description

You can use just about any type of growing media, including expanded clay pellets, perlite, and coconut coir. 

 

          Hydroponic dutch bucket grow system for tomato growing are suitable for drip irrigation systems. The overflow outlet can be connected into a central 1-1/2-in PVC drainpipe. The bucket has a highly effective internal discharge system. By installing the two elbows, the overflow water is suctioned from the lowest level of the bucket and discharged into the central drainpipe. This will eliminate the pooling of stagnant water. The Hydroponic dutch bucket grow system for tomato growing measures 12-in x 10-in x 9-in (LxWxH). Dutch Buckets are made from food-grade polypropylene.

Working principle

 

         The Hydroponic dutch bucket grow system for tomato growing uses a drip system where the water is transported via plastic pipes to a series of specially designed buckets that have a drain at the bottom. The plants are set in a net basket filled with perlite or another medium. The nutrient solution is dripped into the basket, soaking the roots; the excess fluid flows out the drain at the bottom of the bucket and into a PVC pipe which transports it back to the reservoir.
